The Sterling Petal Boutique sells women's apparel, accessories, jewelry, bags, sunglasses, headbands, and home goods. All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or correct pricing errors at any time.

Colors and product appearances may vary slightly from what is displayed on screen due to monitor settings and photography lighting. We do our best to represent products accurately.

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. Sales tax will be applied to orders as required by Texas law.

Payment is due at the time of purchase. We accept major credit cards and any payment methods made available through our e-commerce platform (Shopify). We do not store payment information on our servers.

Placing an order does not constitute a binding contract until we confirm and process the order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to:

Orders

How do I place an order?

Simply browse our website at www.thesterlingpetal.com, add your items to your cart, and check out securely through Shopify. You'll receive a confirmation email as soon as your order is placed.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

We begin processing orders quickly, so changes and cancellations must be requested within 2 hours of placing your order. Email us at Info@thesterlingpetal.com as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you. Once an order has been packed or shipped, we are unable to make changes.

I didn't receive an order confirmation. What should I do?

Check your spam or junk folder first — confirmation emails sometimes land there. If you still don't see it, email us at Robin@thesterlingpetal.com with your name and the email address used at checkout and we'll get it sorted out.

Do you offer gift cards?

Shipping

How long does it take to process my order?

All orders are processed within 2–3 business days, Monday through Friday. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing the next business day.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your delivery address. We ship via USPS First Class and Priority Mail.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with your USPS tracking number. Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking to update after you receive that email.

Do you ship outside the United States?

At this time, we only ship within the United States. We hope to expand in the future — stay tuned!

My package says it was delivered but I didn't receive it. What do I do?

We're sorry to hear that! Please check with neighbors and your local post office first, as USPS sometimes marks packages as delivered a day early. If it still hasn't turned up, email us at Robin@thesterlingpetal.com and we'll help you file a missing mail claim with USPS.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

We accept exchanges and store credit within 14 days of your delivery date. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and returned with all tags attached. We do not offer cash refunds.

What items cannot be returned?

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged: jewelry, accessories, sunglasses, headbands, bags, home goods, candles, and any items marked as Sale or Clearance.

My item arrived damaged or defective. What now?

We are so sorry! Please email us at Robin@thesterlingpetal.com within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the damage and your order number. We will make it right immediately — no questions asked.

How do I start a return or exchange?

Email us at Robin@thesterlingpetal.com within 14 days of delivery. We'll send you a Return Authorization number (RA#) and the return shipping address. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

How long does it take to receive my store credit or exchange?

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, your store credit or exchange will be processed within 3–5 business days. You'll receive a confirmation email when it's done.

Products & Sizing

How do I know what size to order?

Each product listing includes a size guide and detailed measurements. When in doubt, size up — it's easier to exchange for a smaller size than to squeeze into something too small. You can also DM us on Instagram @thesterlingpetal and we'll help you find the right fit.

Are your clothes true to size?

It varies by brand and style. We note any sizing quirks in the product description — for example, if something runs small or oversized, we'll tell you. When we say "fits true to size," it does.

Will sold-out items be restocked?

Sometimes! Popular styles and colors do get restocked, but we can't guarantee it. The best way to know first is to follow us on Instagram @thesterlingpetal or join The Bloom List at thesterlingpetal.com for early access to restocks and new arrivals.

Do you carry plus sizes?

We are working to expand our size range and carry styles that work for every body. Check individual product listings for available sizes. If you're looking for something specific and don't see your size, reach out — we'd love your feedback as we grow our inventory.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay — all processed securely through Shopify.

Is my payment information secure?

Absolutely. All transactions are processed through Shopify's secure checkout. We never see or store your full card number or payment details.

Do you charge sales tax?

Sales tax is applied to orders as required by Texas law and calculated at checkout.
